Wilster - the small, tranquil town, idyllically located in the marshes of Schleswig-Holstein, has been rocked by a sonic inferno since 2015, which has significantly increased the frequency of the heartbeat of this settlement since then.
With a feel for magical melodies that paint wild pictures in the soul and playful, sometimes daring instrumentation, the "Dayfly's Diary" is then meticulously kept.
Our debut album "saw the light" of day in spring 2024. Listeners can expect melancholic heavy progressive rock with subtle excursions into space rock, neoprog and progressive metal realms.
Nine years after the band was founded, the long-time heroes Christoph (guitar), Wolfgang (bass), Karsten (drums) and Michael (keyboards), have been reinforced since 2021 and driven by the two band newcomers Sascha - Sir Lord Doom (vocals) and Stefan (lead guitar). wrote the most important entry to date in the form of the debut album "SEE THE LIGHT".
With their melodic, melancholic heavy progressive rock with subtle excursions into space rock, neoprog and progressive metal, the name DAYFLY'S DIARY has become a brand that stands for stubborn, courageous and always ear-pleasing, emotionally intense rock music. Now loved worldwide.
